Andrew Vidich Ph.D.


clip_image002Dr. Andrew Vidich is an author, educator, transformational speaker, and editor of more than five books. His books include Love is a Secret (1990), critically acclaimed by the Institute of Noetic Sciences, which stated that “it provided a great service to readers interested in the deeper dimensions of mystical love.”  He co-authored The Heart of the Healer, (1995) an investigation into the nature of healing, which sold more than twenty thousand copies. He was also a contributor to The Heart of Healing, (2006) edited by Dawson Church, (Elite Books) which won a National Book Award for best anthology on health and healing. His most recent book Light upon Light: 5 Master Pathways to Awaken the Mindful Self  (2009 Elite Books) won the Best Book Award under the category of Eastern Religions by USA Book News.

Dr. Vidich has been an adjunct assistant professor of religion at Manhattan College and at Iona College in New Rochelle where he has taught courses in the nature and experience of religion, meditation, death and dying and Islamic studies. He has been an instructional coach and award winning teacher in the New York City Department of Education for over 18 years.  Dr. Vidich was the founder and CEO of Antique Art and Design Gallery and a financial planner  for New York Life and Securities where he advised clients in the financial services.  Dr. Vidich lectures and presents seminars and workshops at corporations, educational and religious institutions, conferences, radio and TV shows, throughout the world on a variety of leadership topics. Some of these include death and dying, meditation and contemplative practice, health and healing, and many other areas of self-improvement and empowerment.  His consulting firm The Leadership Training teaches and trains people in leadership practices including building effective and efficient teams, conscious and compassionate communication, conflict management, and mindfulness practice in educational and corporate organizations.

He is a founding member of The Interfaith Council of New York a not-for-profit interfaith organization as well as a member of the council of trustees of The Temple of Understanding, a global interfaith organization, which promotes interfaith understanding and cooperation across all religions and faiths. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the public relations coordinator for the Science of Spirituality Meditation Center in Amityville New York.
